Let's Talk: Fit of the Cap

Don't have hair of your own? Neither do I, which is why one topic is always at the center of my everyday life when wearing wigs: the perfect fit.

The wig should fit tightly on the head and feel secure. This is a key feature of my wigs at Mel's Wig Collection: the wigs fit perfect and are adapted to heads without hair ✨

Of course, I also offer caps for anyone with their own hair 😉

You may have read the term “fitted” or "adapted" in the size guide or in the descriptions of the Ready To Ship wigs.

What do I mean by that?

Fitted / Adapted caps - I customize these caps to fit heads without natural hair. Maybe you've made this experience yourself. Your new wig arrives and when you put it on for the first time you notice: A “bag” forms at the back of your head. Although the wig fits well in the circumference, there is too much material at the back of the head. I avoid this problem by customizing my caps and thus offer a perfect, secure fit for MWC wigs.

Non-fitted / not adapted caps - these caps are not fitted. This means that there is enough space at the back of the head for your own hair and, for example, there is enough room for braided hair under the wig.
